Crawl space waterproofing in Columbus

A damp crawl space sends moisture up into the house above it. Liner, sealed seams and the right moisture control turn it into a dry, clean space.

Common questions

Should crawl space vents be closed?

In a sealed, encapsulated crawl space, yes: humid summer air coming in through vents is a major moisture source. In an unsealed one, closing vents alone can make things worse. It is part of the whole plan, not a standalone fix.

Do I need a dehumidifier?

Not always. Some spaces stay dry once the liner is down and the vents are sealed. Where readings stay high, a dehumidifier finishes the job.

Can you work in a very low crawl space?

Usually, yes. Very low or obstructed spaces take longer and may cost more; we note that on the estimate.

Does the liner help with storage?

A reinforced liner is clean and tough enough for light storage, which many owners use it for.

Water on the basement floor?

Call or send the form. We set an inspection, show you where the water is getting in, and put the fix and its price on paper before anyone cuts concrete.
