Work on Columbus basements with us
We book basement waterproofing jobs across central Ohio for independent local crews. Good crews and good hands are always worth meeting.
How is this business set up?
Capital City Waterproofing Co. is a local marketing and booking service. Homeowners contact us; independent waterproofing contractors do the work and hire their own people. So there are two ways in: as a contractor taking booked jobs, or as a worker we can put in touch with those contractors.
I run a waterproofing company. What do you need?
Proof of general liability insurance, registration where your city asks for it, your service area, and a record of showing up when promised and pricing in writing. Interior drainage, excavation, crack injection, sump installation and crawl space work are the jobs we book. Email hello@capitalcitywaterproofing.com with your company name and certificate of insurance.
I'm looking for crew work. Who is hiring?
The contractors we work with look for laborers comfortable with concrete saws, jackhammers and digging; experienced hands who can set drain tile, membranes and sump basins; equipment operators for mini excavators; and estimators who can read a basement and write a clear scope. We'll pass your details to them.
What do contractors ask of workers?
Reliable transportation, basic hand tools, safe habits around saws, trenches and excavations, and a willingness to work in tight, wet and dusty spaces. Operators need experience on the machines they run.
How do I get in touch?
Email hello@capitalcitywaterproofing.com with "Crew" or "Contractor" in the subject, a few lines about what you've done, the towns you can reach and a good number. Or call (380) 261-2333. No résumé is needed to start.
Is there a fee to apply?
Never. Nobody pays us to be considered. If someone asks you for money to get on a list in our name, it isn't us.
